Who I am

F. George Dunham, III, CPA

A CPA since 1984, with thirty-plus years of board-level and operating experience across insurance, oil & gas, software, and AI-driven operations, including CFO and CEO roles and service as Chairman of a NASDAQ-listed company.

I have served on a Special Litigation Committee investigating shareholder claims and governance disputes, and provided expert witness testimony for both plaintiff and defense, each engagement ending in a result the retaining side wanted. My work has included complex financial and operational analysis in matters requiring an independent, defensible point of view.

Took a company public via NASDAQ IPO, scaling past $100M in revenue
Led two companies through highly successful liquidity events at premium valuations
Served as the key expert witness in a Dallas temporary injunction hearing, accepted by the court as an expert in oil & gas, accounting, and corporate governance over the objection of three separate opposing counsel; the court found he "does have knowledge, expert knowledge regarding corporate governance and accounting and also specifically in the oil and gas field"
That testimony supported the issuance of a temporary restraining order and injunction, with the matter continuing in related Colorado proceedings
Served on a Special Litigation Committee, conducting accounting transaction analysis, shareholder claims investigation, and deposition testimony
Financial and governance litigation experience including SEC report and board minutes review, deposition, and trial testimony
Held CFO and CEO roles across insurance, oil & gas, and SaaS
